Kitchener South — Hespeler Green Party Inaugural AGM – Wed, 28 Nov 2018

Cartoon silhouettes This Wednesday the Kitchener South — Hespeler Green Party of Ontario Consituents Association will be having its inaugural Annual General Meeting.

When: Wednesday, 28 November 2018 at 7:00pm
Where: Borealis Grille and Bar
Location: 4336 King Street East, Kitchener , Ontario Map

An Executive will be elected, consisting of a President and Chief Financial Officer, and other Principal Officers.

Everyone is welcome to attend, although you must be a Green Party of Ontario member in good standing to be nominated, and also resident in the Kitchener South — Hespeler electoral district to be eligible to vote.

The Annual General Meeting for the federal Kitchener South — Hespeler Green Party of Canada Electoral District Association will also be held. You must be a member in good standing of the Green Party of Canada in order to vote at this AGM.

Regular WRGreens meeting — Wed 7 Nov 2018

Green cartoon silhouettesHi everyone! First, thanx to everyone who completed the poll to determine when we should hold our regular meetings and social nights. The most popular day-of-week choice was Wednesday, and the most popular week-of-month choice was the first week of the month.

So, the first Wednesday of the month, every other month it is! The regular meeting is from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, and is followed by socializing from 7:00pm onwards — it’s two separate events, so no-one is obligated to come to a boring business meeting just to be social.

Committee meetings can be held in the alternate months when there’s no regular WRGreens meeting. See https://wrgreens.ca/committees/ for a list of committees and the committee chairs.

So, the first Wednesday of November is next week, 7 November 2018!

We need a venue for our meeting and social night — I’m open to ideas! It should be somewhere quiet enough to hold the regular meeting, big enough for 10-15 people (or more!), and financially considerate for WRGreens of all income levels. Let me know, and I’ll send out a reminder with the location on Tuesday night.
